The interplay of the spine, pelvis, and knee flexions, with the flow of breath throughout the body, provides confident support for the movement coordination that is created. The stability and strength of the core of the body – the pelvis – allows all parts of the structural system to work together in a coordinated, effortless way, resulting in a free-flowing and expressive movement. This movement is characterized by playing with gravity, finding a weightless, suspended moment at a given point in the movement process, falling and returning to the starting position, and a subtle, varied play of hand and arm movements.
