Lukasz Czapski

Performer, Dancer and Contemporary Dance Teacher

Lukasz is a performer, dancer and contemporary dance teacher.

He started dancing by learning breakdance and graduated in Contemporary Dance as well as in Pedagogy, Animator and Cultural Manager. As a performer he worked for Jan Lauwers, Paul Blackman, Jianan Qu, Hygin Delimat, SILK Flugge Company, Akos Hargity, Eliza Kindziuk and Sebastian Piotrowicz.

Facts

He performed in Great Britain, Austria, Luxembourg, France, Slovenia, El Salvador and Poland. In 2018 he graduated in contemporary dance at the Anton Bruckner University in Linz (Austria). He also graduated at the University of Natural Sciences and Humanities in Siedlce (Poland) with a Master’s degree in Pedagogy, Animator and Cultural Manager. Lukasz began his experience with contemporary dance in his hometown, Siedlce, by working with the Caro Dance theatre.

He started dancing in 1999 by learning breakdance. A few years later, together with his friends, he founded the „Cats Claw“ group, with whom he was participating in many breakdance competitions around the world.
